This is my variation on the classic Toll House chocolate chip cookie recipe. It makes a cookie that is a bit less sweet and a little thicker and softer than the original. I also like to make the cookies a bit larger.

Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie
There are tons of chocolate chip cookie recipes out there, but it’s hard to beat the original recipe, still found on packages of Nestle Toll House Morsels. This recipe yields the classic chocolate chip cookie, crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside.
Chocolate Madeleines
Madeleine (often spelled Madeline) is a girl’s name in French, but it also is the name of a small, delicate, shell-shaped sponge cake which is eaten like a cookie. Madeleines are baked in a special pan to give them the scalloped shell shape.
Chocolate-Dipped Hungarian Cookies
These cinnamon-scented, melt-in-the-mouth cookies taste great on their own, and even better dipped in chocolate.
Chocolate-tipped Almond Crescents
Almond crescents are a traditional holiday favorite in much of Europe, but these cookies taste good anytime of year. For an extra special touch, dip them in chocolate.
